Active Ingredients

The active ingredients in Carmex lip balm are:

• Menthol 0.7% for anti itch (this is the prominent smell of the Carmex lip balm)
• Camphor 1.7% for analgesic

Carmex helps to provide relief of the symptoms of cold sores and dry chapped lips. It does not have SPF 15 or any SPF ingredients so it is not for sun protection.
